Based in Kent, Washington, Voda Stairs specializes in custom stair noses for homeowners in Bellevue, Kent, Tacoma, Kirkland, Seatac, Tukwila, and the surrounding areas. When our founder Vasiliy Odarchuk immigrated to the U.S. from Ukraine, he launched a flooring and woodworking business where he was able to work on many stair projects and has been in business for over 30 years and counting.
We noticed that laminate and vinyl flooring were very popular. The issue, however, was that there were no modern square style stair nose products that allowed stairs to match these types of flooring. The few options available such as bullnose or rounded style were poor quality, had an outdated rounded edge, and were never an exact match.
Eventually, Voda started his family-owned woodworking and flooring business and never looked back. Today, Voda Stairs is one of the most successful stair nose fabrication companies in the Seattle area and is indeed the pioneer of this industry.
