Templates make orders faster and more accurate, and each product page has fillable PDFs. They're helpful, not mandatory — we can work from photos and measurements too.

Stair nosings are the finished front edges of stair treads, fabricated from your flooring so the step edge matches the floor. We make square, cap, overlap, and waterfall profiles.

Return treads are complete stair treads with a finished, wrapped end for staircases open on one or both sides. No raw plank edge shows from the side.

Yes. We fabricate ceiling beams and mantel-style pieces from your material, sized to your span.

Yes. Shelves are built from your flooring so they match the surrounding room, with concealed mounting.

Yes. We fabricate flush floor vents from your flooring to fit your existing duct openings so registers blend into the floor.

Yes. LVP is one of our most common materials. We fabricate noses and treads with the correct lock profile so pieces engage your planks properly.

Yes. Laminate fabricates well and we cut it daily. Because the wear layer is printed, we take extra care with edges and returns.

Yes. Engineered hardwood is ideal for stair parts and gives an exact match to the surrounding floor.

Yes. Solid hardwood can be milled into nosings, treads, risers, and trim with any profile you need.

No. We fabricate from material you supply — that's what makes the match exact.

Yes, and most customers do. Pickup is at our Tukwila shop, Monday to Friday. We call or email you when your order is ready.

We can arrange local delivery throughout the greater Seattle area, including Bellevue, Kent, Tacoma, Kirkland, and SeaTac.

Yes. Finished pieces can ship by freight. Cost depends on length, weight, and destination and is quoted separately.

Drop it off at the shop or ship it to us. Include a printed copy of your order so material stays matched to your job.

Most orders are fabricated within about one to two weeks after we receive material and confirmed details. Larger orders take longer; we give you a target date up front.

Sometimes. Tell us your deadline when you request pricing and we'll be straight with you about whether it's achievable.

Every order is reviewed against your dimensions before cutting and inspected again before it leaves the shop. If something isn't right, we make it right.

We'll contact you before cutting. Damaged planks and short counts are the most common reason to send a little extra material with the order.

Measure the finished width of each step wall-to-wall at the front edge, and note whether each end is closed by a wall or open. Photos of the full staircase help us catch anything unusual.

A finished end is a wrapped, sanded end that stays visible. You need them wherever an end of the piece will be exposed — typically on open-sided staircases.

Open staircases need returns on the exposed side (or both sides), which changes the length and fabrication of every piece. Tell us which sides are open when you request pricing.

Stairs closed on both sides are the simplest case: no returns or finished ends are needed, just accurate wall-to-wall widths for each step.

We can install in the Seattle area. Many customers or their contractors install themselves — the pieces arrive finished and cut to size.
